Why should I bother?
Critical evaluation of sources underpins successful research. In the 21st century there is so much information at our fingertips on the internet and elsewhere. The question is, how do we decide which sources are worth including in our research? How do I demonstrate "in-depth analysis of information"? (or, in other words, how can I get an A grade for this part of my Folio?)
Every source that you access should be scrutinised. You can then judge whether the source will contribute to your research findings and outcome. The framework below is one way to approach your analysis. At least two pages of your folio should demonstrate your learning in this area. We will work towards an annotated bibliography and documenting your detailed analysis of at least one source. |
