2022 Interaction Oral - Global Goals Podcast
Topic Group 3: Global Issues - People and PowerWhat assessment are we working towards?You will create a short (4-5 minute) podcast attempting to engage primary school aged students to contribute to one of the Global Goals for Sustainable Development. This is part of the United Nations' World's Largest Lesson initiative.
This is a short final task, with visitors from 42 Adelaide coming to our lesson on Monday week 2 to provide advice on creating a high quality and engaging podcast. We will go through the following learning about the Global Goals themselves on Thursday week 2. |
Timeline
This is a relatively quick task that has replaced the Rafa Rafa roleplay.
In the lesson on Monday week 2 you will meet representatives from 42 Adelaide who will give us tips and tricks on producing an excellent podcast. You will also virtually meet podcast aficionado Lucy, who represents your target audience.
In the lesson on Thursday week 2 you will learn about the Global Goals and the United Nations' focus on educating and empowering children and young people to take action.
In week 3, lessons have officially ended, but you are invited to use the studio at 42 Adelaide to record your podcast (see letter).
The podcast is due at the end of week 2.
