In 2021 Golden Grove High School ran an innovative Year 12 course called “Applied History”, aimed at students who enjoy learning history but did not enrol in SACE Modern History for a variety of reasons. This will be an honest appraisal of the pilot project, open to discussion on how the inclusive Applied History model could be adapted for other sites and contexts.
