|
*Step 2 must be ready to display in the first lesson of Week 3 |
Step 2:
|
This year's approach to this task was inspired by Briggs and Trials "celebrating black excellence" while hosting Triple J breakfast in NAIDOC week.
As a class we are aiming to showcase Indigenous people who are demonstrating excellence in the widest variety of fields we can. Some suggestions about who you could profile are below.
We will be creating a display in the foyer of building 11 but don't feel limited to a 2D format! We can publish digital material on Ms Grant's website and put up QR codes or we can discuss more 3D style options. You should aim to stop and engage everyone who walks past.

Step 3:
Evaluate the effectiveness of the display
Min. 270 words/Max. 500 or equivalent recorded [x number of people in your group]
This will help you practice for your group and individual evaluation in the upcoming Group Interaction task.
For this task, you need to focus on evaluating whether the display was an effective form of social action.
You are not focussing on whether your group worked well together and whether all members contributed sufficiently. You can only comment on this IF it impacted on the effectiveness of the display.
